Bill is an entrepreneur at heart who has founded a half-dozen different companies. He is best-known for his success with SWOT Management Group, an integrated sales and business development firm, where he has been instrumental in developing SWOTmg’s business plan and go-to-market strategy. Bill has spent countless hours in the trenches with high-tech vendors, distributors and services companies, and he brings this battle-tested perspective in channel dynamics to every SWOTmg campaign or program. This experience also was integral to Bill’s decision to co-found a sister company to SWOTmg, Channeltivity, a pioneer in cloud computing specializing in partner relationship management.

Bill has consistently exceeded sales and profitability goals year-over-year both on behalf of both SWOTmg and its clients, and he takes pride in the SWOTmg team’s formidable seven-year track record in delivering high-quality services. Bill has received numerous corporate achievement awards for developing strategies that have helped other businesses—from VMware to CA to Hitachi Data Systems—achieve their growth objectives. His latest tech venture, Channeltivity, helps businesses apply and track their channel development and sales initiatives through a SaaS application that uses many key performance metrics developed by SWOTmg.

Bill shares his experience with other entrepreneurs through the internationally recognized Entrepreneurs’ Organization, a CEO member association focused on cultivating business leaders. He is a past president of the New Jersey chapter, past regional director for the mid-Atlantic area, and now the global communications chair, responsible for both internal and external communications of the 7,000-member organization.

Prior to founding SWOTmg and Channeltivity, Bill was at Sun Microsystems, where he created and implemented strategies designed to drive revenue growth through a variety of sales and channel initiatives. He joined Sun from Vanstar Corp., after helping that company grow from a regional PC distributor into a multi-billion-dollar solution integration powerhouse. Bill has held key business development and sales management positions at other leading technology consulting firms, and he was also the founder of Total Network Solutions, LLC, a regional systems integrator.

Bill is a noted public speaker, author and consultant. He is an active member of his community, where he has participated in numerous charitable events. He has coached his hometown’s youth lacrosse league for the past 11 years and currently is on the league’s board. Bill graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Economics. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps as an Aircraft Electrician.
