Keith Herndon Keith L. Herndon, Vice President of Research and Product Development
A published author on the topic of entrepreneurship, Keith has more than 20 years experience in business development, strategic planning, operations and technology management.

His executive posts have included Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Planning and Product Development at Cox Enterprises’ Internet division where he led strategic partnerships with companies such as Yahoo! and MP3.com. Keith also supervised the technical due diligence process for Cox investments in new media companies, and he served on the board of directors of Enkia Corp., an investment recipient. Keith previously was president of a business incubator, the general manager of an e-commerce fulfillment company, and a director of operations at Cox Radio Interactive.

In addition to his role at SWOTmg, Keith is President of Internet Decisions, which specializes in Internet strategic planning. Early in his career, he was a business reporter and editor at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, which established his skills as a researcher and writer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. Keith completed a Davenport Fellowship in economic journalism at the University of Missouri.

Innovations Publishing LLC has released two books by Keith, both presenting business advice through expert interviews. The first, "Raising Capital When You Don't Have a Silicon Valley Address," was published in October 2007. The second book, "Entrepreneurs and Innovation: Creating Value with Emerging Technologies," was published in October 2008.

Keith serves on the adjunct faculty at Kennesaw State University, and he is active in the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals, the Association of Internet Researchers and the Technology Association of Georgia.
